"One woman said it's probably going to cost her a divorce but she's going to spend the rest of her life looking for her dog. She will not stop until she finds out what happened to him. She said she had that dog eight years; it's not just a dog, it's family."

Subject: PLEASE SIGN PETITION: Urge Chinese Government to Curb Cruel Fur Trade Practices

“The majority of fur products–some 85%–are imported from China, where animal welfare regulations are non-existent. A recent report produced by an international coalition of animal advocacy organizations revealed horrific conditions on Chinese fur farms. Investigators found workers attempting to stun animals by repeatedly slamming them against the ground or bashing their heads with clubs.”

Subject: Animals skinned alive for fur

"A report produced by CFTWI (Care for the wild international) has revealed that the lives of millions of animals held captive in Chinese fur farms are characterized by extraordinary and chronic suffering, before being terminated in the most violent and agonizing deaths.

China is the world’s biggest fur trade production and processing base in the world. Most of this fur originates from captive animals, including red and arctic foxes, raccoon dogs, mink, and rabbits. China is also a country without any legal provisions for animal welfare and a correspondingly poor track record. Last year, CFTWI teamed up with colleagues from Switzerland and Taiwan to examine the situation on the ground. This report is shocking. The investigators uncovered unimaginable acts of systematic brutality and animal cruelty on a colossal scale."

The video footage:

CAUTION: This contains scenes of extreme violence to animals that most people will find extremely upsetting.

  • USAPE officials further want to see the release of Spalding County Animal Shelter's animals pending a pitbull fighting and cruelty case and a court date set for the convicted felon being held for his involvement. He still walks free after more than three years of delays and postponements. Please assist us in writing letters requesting the release of these animals.
